The Centre for Land Rehabilitation was established in 1995 and specialises in research, consultancy and professional training. With strong links to other research establishments at state, national, and international level, it is a multi-disciplinary centre that deals with the restoration and rejuvenation of ecosystem function in a wide range of degraded landscapes. The Centre is located within the School of Earth and Environment, in the Faculty of Natural & Agricultural Sciences at the University of Western Australia.
The Centre for Land Rehabilitation applies expertise from a range of disciplines including soil science, Geomechanics, hydrology, geochemistry, soil biology plant nutrition, plant physiology, restoration ecology and resource economics to the management of disturbed lands.
